Steve Harvey Introduces Christ

Here are the words for this:

If I had the pleasure of bringing out Christ, this is just how I would do it. It ain't got to be the way you'd do it. You might not think it's just right. But this is how I would do it. Ladies and Gentlemen, it is my honor to introduce a man, who needs no introduction. His credits are too long to list. He has done the impossible. Time after time. He hails out of a manger, in Bethlehem, Jerusalem, by way of Heaven. His mother is still headlining in the Catholic Church today. His daddy is the author of a book, that has been on the best seller list, since the beginning of time. He holds the record for the world's greatest fish fry. He fed 5,000 hungry souls with 2 fish, 5 loaves of bread. He can walk on water. Turn water into wine. No special effects. No camera tricks. He has a headshot, on every Church fan across the country. Even before the kings of comedy, he was hailed 'The King of all Kings' 'Ruler of the Universe' 'Alpha and Omega' 'Beginning and the End' 'The Bright and the Morning Star' Some say He's the rules of sharing, and some say He's 'The Prince of Peace' Get up on your feet. Put your hands together. And show your love for the 2nd coming, of the one and only. God has been good. Steve Harvey

Christ has not been called the "rules of sharing." He is called the "Rose of Sharon." You can look it up.

Bruce - absolutely correct. I took this off the subtitles, and we all know how reliable they are! ha!

Does anyone know what is meant by: "He has a headshot, on every Church fan across the country". I am looking for the meaning of "fan" in that context. Thanks

The term "headshot" is used in the entertainment business, for a close up of ones picture. The "Church Fan" is the actual hand held fans used to produce a cool breeze in the church on hot days. (Manual air conditioning if you will!) So he is making reference to the face of Jesus being printed on the church fans.

also what does it mean that 'He holds the record for the world's greatest 'fish fry'and that ....:He hails...'by way of Heaven'?

Also he is not called the morning star, I think he mixed that up because Lucifer is called the morning star

Dear Anonymous - Here's why both Jesus and Satan are called the "bright, morning star." Also, Lucifer is not really in the Bible. It is a name that came about as a result of the transliteration of the word Lukiferon from latin which I believe is also the word for Venus, the bright, morning star. hmmm.

He Clearly Said "If I Had The Pleasure Of Bringing Out Christ This Is How I Would Do It" AWESOME to me especially after a show he was doing. To get get an audience of that size to stand up and Praise The Lord was the best part of the show to me,and I bet for him also. No Laughter All Praises maybe some mistakes but still a good addition to the performance. Quite sure all the people attending enjoyed that segment better than all the funny and comedy part of it. GREAT JOB STEVE!!! All the way from Kannapolis N.C Havis Quinn

There's also a spiritual song that says, "He's the lily of the Valley, Bright and Morning Star...Sweet Jesus, sweet Jesus, He's the God of every nation bless His Name." Steve was raised up in church, I can guarantee he was pulling from that song as well. He knew the mass majority of the audience would get it.

I Jesus have sent mine Angel to testify unto you these things in the churches, I am the root and the offspring of David and the bright and morning star. Revelation 22:16
