Idol Final - Over the Rainbow

Ok, so I'm sitting here at Panera waiting for my accountability partner to show up and I went online to watch Kat sing "Over the Rainbow." WOW!!! It's a little embarrassing to be sitting here in a public place with misty eyes. What is it that evokes so much emotion? I just know that when she finished the tears came, and they are there again just writing about it. AND, this is not spiritual. I think there is something within us (well, me anyways!) that recognizes a "win" and I feel the urge to celebrate with the individual. This is the reason I don't like to watch ice skating. When someone really nails it I break out in tears. That's just me. (and I love it!)

Now watch "Have you ever really loved a woman?" by Chris and "Trouble" by Taylor and you'll see what moves me: real life! Ha ha. I'm glad to see you enjoying AI. Hopefully Judy will enjoy it next year too.
TAY ALL THE WAY! WHOO HOO! YOW! SOUL PATROL!

What planet does Rett live on!!! I might not be able to sing, but I know what sells and it's not Tay Tay. In 3 years you won't even see him performing in public. Meanwhile, some music mogul will be able to develop Kat into a hit. Maybe not a Carrie, but she'll be bigger than Tay Tay. I think American Idol should have said "Tah-Tah" to "Tay-Tay" long ago. I wish the Soul Patrol would have given him the hook weeks ago. Taylor will finish his music career next year, in a Nashville lounge, singing Elvis songs, because no one will go see him in concert. Please let Rett know that I will be sending a copy of Kat's first platinum album and she can send me a copy of Tay's single hit wonder. TTFN. Todd

Gag Todd! I'll be thrilled to buy and enjoy the soulful album Taylor is sure to create whereas I'm bored at the prospect of another *yawn* Kelly Clarkson Brittney Spears Celine Dion Gorgeous Female Pop Star. I admit Kat has a angelic voice. To sing what? Is she a Broadway star? An opera singer? A powerhouse anthemette? Or a sappy balladeer? Give me a record full of songs that ooze out of someone's soul ala Bo Bice last year and the Silver Fox this year. But if you prefer your old Olivia Newton John albums to Otis, Dylan, or Janis, then I understand.

All in good fun,

wow tye! you an definately into this...it's just amazing! I'm all for Katharine, she has an amazing voice. Tay-Tay does need to go Tah-Tah :). He was a bit pitchy, but does have an incredible voice. My vote is Katharine all the way. beutiful, rich voice with wonderful pitch and angelice voice.

Well, it looks like all the baby boomers called in for Tay-Tay. Obviously, enough people in America still will Elvis was alive. All I can say is that Tay-Tay was lucky to have the best call in numbers the last 2 weeks. Last week he had 3-6-9 (which has a good ring to it) and this week he had 2-4-6-8 (who do we appreciate!!!). Sometimes, you have to get a little lucky to come out on top. Atleast now he won't have the "Runner-Up" blues when he slides down the chart. I wonder if I'll get invited to the Tay-Tay party at Rett's place? I wish I could find my hat or a crow. I sure am hungry. TTFN. Todd

SOUL PATROL!

No crow needed. Just rejoice with me! I'll be dancing in the streets when his first CD comes out.
